Advanced Issues in Emergency Preparedness and Response
(May 24–25, 2011)
Presented in partnership with the Canadian Association for the Conservation of Cultural Property 37th Annual ConferenceDay 1 will consist of two half-day sessions:
These sessions will be offered concurrently, morning and afternoon. They are intended for professional conservators or those with conservation training and responsibility for disaster response at their institution. A maximum of 40 participants will be accepted.
Day 2 will consist of a panel presentation on Museums Emergency Preparedness and Planning within the Community. It is open to all who register for the conference.
Participants may attend one or both days. More information about the workshop and registration information is available from the Canadian Association for the Conservation of Cultural Property.
(June 14–17, 2011)
June 14 will consist of general lectures and can be attended as a self-contained one-day event.
June 15, 16, and 17 will consist of further technical lectures, hands-on exercises, demonstrations, and site visits.
